We are looking to recruit Test Analyst who will be responsible for build coordination and testing of software/websites to support the company’s products and services. This role requires a technically proficient individual capable of testing software as per the specifications and liaising with customers and collaborators on software-related matters. Holds commercial experience, sound Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ideally versatile team player who can undertake all Software Testing / Support activities with minimal supervision. The candidate should have sound knowledge in SDLC concept / Testing services and QA Process. You should be a quick learner and self-motivated personnel having good communications skills. Engineering Degree level qualification or an NVQ Level 6 qualification with experience.
Nice to have UK master’s degree and will be an added advantage.
Salary £33K - £42K depends on experience/Qualification. Key Skills and Job expectations:
Providing accurate estimates for cost and timelines.
Excellent offshore coordination skills along with expertise in Client interaction and interaction with various stake holders like developers, third parties to ensure that testing aligns with overall business objectives.
Wide range of experience mostly in testing integrated applications.
Experience in building Test plan and strategy.
Should be comfortable in creation of detailed, well-structured test cases and scenarios in JIRA and maintaining reports in Confluence and also comfortable in involving in various technical discussions.
Should be analytically good and should be comfortable in early BUG identification and management.
RISK identification and highlighting at early stage of project.
Defect management in-terms of identification and independently working along with developers for its closure.
Process Improvement: Continuously analyse test processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
Define and track quality metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect rate, pass/fail rates) to measure and improve the effectiveness of the testing process. Prepare regular status reports for upper management and stakeholders.
Ensure that complete end-to-end testing is performed across systems, ensuring that various modules and components integrate seamlessly and function as intended.
Good understanding of the Software Engineering Lifecycle, particularly test and integration.
Willingness to travel occasionally to visit customer in-person and explain the progress of activities.
Document quality standards and validation techniques.
Prepare test cases, test plans, test executions and test reports.
Prepare QA standards documents, work with developers and test the applications
