The Role
As HR Manager, you'll oversee the school's HR function, ensuring all people processes are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with current employment legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading recruitment campaigns and overseeing safer recruitment processes
Providing expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and absence management
Managing disciplinary, grievance, and capability procedures where required
Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures
Overseeing contracts, personnel records, and HR compliance
Producing workforce reports and supporting strategic staffing decisions
Working with leaders to improve staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention

The Successful Candidate
Applications are welcomed from experienced HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Senior HR Advisors, or experienced HR professionals looking to progress into a strategic leadership position within education.
You'll have a strong understanding of employment law, excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience managing complex HR casework. You'll enjoy building positive relationships and supporting leaders to make informed people decisions.
As part of the school's safer recruitment procedures, references from your current (or most recent) employer and a previous employer will be required before an interview can be arranged.
