Maths Teacher | Day-to-Day Supply Work | Haringey

We are looking to register enthusiastic and reliable Maths Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Haringey from September 2026.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for more flexibility, an ECT wanting to gain experience across different schools, or simply prefer the variety of supply teaching, this is an opportunity to keep teaching without committing to a permanent role.

This is a daily supply position, with assignments offered according to your availability, experience and preferred location.

Work could range from a single day of cover to several consecutive days or a short-term assignment. You remain in control of which opportunities you accept, giving you the flexibility to fit teaching around your own circumstances.

Your Role in the Classroom

As a Daily Supply Maths Teacher, you'll be expected to:

Deliver Maths Lessons: Follow prepared lesson plans and deliver clear, engaging Maths lessons across the relevant Key Stages.

Manage Behaviour: Establish a positive classroom environment and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour.

Adapt Quickly: Confidently settle into different schools, classrooms and routines, often with limited notice.

Support Student Progress: Check understanding, answer questions and provide appropriate support throughout lessons.

Follow School Expectations: Adhere to safeguarding procedures, school policies and professional standards at all times.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable

• Experience teaching Maths at the relevant Key Stages
