A Level Philosophy & Ethics Tutor – AQA | Online Tutoring | Flexible Hours

Academics are currently seeking an experienced A Level Philosophy and Ethics Tutor to provide weekly online tutoring support to a student studying A Level Philosophy and Ethics with the AQA exam board.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Philosophy Teacher, Religious Studies Teacher, Ethics Tutor or A Level subject specialist who can provide approximately one hour of online tuition each week.

There is flexibility around session times, with tutoring potentially taking place before school or after school.

The successful tutor will provide tailored academic support, helping the student develop their knowledge, critical thinking and examination technique across the AQA A Level Philosophy and Ethics specification.

Key responsibilities:A Level Philosophy & Ethics Tutor – AQA

* Deliver approximately one hour of online A Level Philosophy and Ethics tuition each week.
* Support the student across the AQA specification.
* Develop knowledge and understanding of key philosophical and ethical concepts.
* Support critical analysis, evaluation and extended written responses.
* Develop effective essay planning and examination technique.
* Help the student apply philosophical and ethical theories to examination questions.
* Identify areas for development and tailor sessions accordingly.
* Build confidence ahead of A Level examinations.

The ideal A Level Philosophy and Ethics Tutor will have:

* Experience teaching or tutoring A Level Philosophy, Ethics or Religious Studies.
* Strong knowledge of the AQA A Level specification.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong understanding of A Level essay writing and examination technique.
* The ability to explain complex philosophical and ethical concepts clearly.
* A patient, supportive and encouraging approach.

This is a flexible online tutoring opportunity that would suit an experienced teacher or tutor looking to provide additional tuition outside normal school hours.
