English Teacher
Smart Teachers are recruiting a dedicated English Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Croydon, starting April 2026 after Spring half term. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching KS3 and KS4. Join a supportive department focused on raising attainment and promoting a love of English.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Be confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS
