Deputy Hygiene Manager - Night Shift

📍 Location: Chessington, KT9 1TW
💰 Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
🕒 Shift: Nights, 8pm-7am (Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday)

Join one of the UK's largest seafood processors and packers, supplying major retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, M&S, and more. With a flagship site in Chessington and a rapidly growing operation in the North-West (following a large investment), the company is expanding its reach and product range.

We're looking for a hands-on Deputy Hygiene Manager to lead our night shift hygiene operations at the Chessington site. You'll work closely with the Hygiene Manager to ensure the site meets the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop hygiene team leaders and their teams.
Ensure cleaning standards are consistently high and the site is production-ready.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and cleaning schedules.
Collaborate with Technical, Health & Safety, and Production teams to resolve issues.
Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Step in for the Hygiene Manager when required.This is a leadership role focused on driving standards and developing people-not just ticking boxes.
