Role
We are currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager – Mirror Room to join our team in the Mirror Room at Rosewood London. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is entrusted to run and oversee the day-to-day operations all front of house areas and associates in a refined, all-day dining restaurant environment.
Key expectations of this role
- Actively engage with guests and associates to meet and exceed their needs.
- Acting as a coach and mentor to a team of associates to ensure high engagement levels and people development to strengthen the company culture.
- Assist in managing cost and revenue in all areas of the restaurant without impact on brand, or quality standards.
- Showing a sound understanding of the London restaurant and hotel market to retain and increase the restaurant’s competitive advantage through continuous proactive strategic and operational planning.
- Managing the team through regular one-to-one meetings, departmental meetings, and job chats
Profile
- Experience at the supervisory level within an upscale and refined restaurant environment.
- A sound understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
- The ability to build good relationships with the front of house and culinary team.
- Possessing a passion for guest service and taking ownership of the guest experience.
