Attendance Officer

A highly regarded Independent School in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to join its pastoral team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and student-focused individual who understands the importance of attendance and punctuality in supporting student achievement and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will monitor attendance across the school, maintain accurate records and work closely with students, parents and staff to improve attendance outcomes. You will analyse attendance data, identify trends and support intervention strategies for students requiring additional support.

Responsibilities will include conducting first-day absence calls, coordinating attendance meetings, preparing reports and supporting safeguarding procedures linked to attendance concerns.
