Role overview
We’re looking for a social-first creative to shape ideas that reflect how a wide range of audiences engage with brands, businesses and issues today.
This role bridges PR, creative and digital — bringing a social-native perspective into campaign thinking from the outset across corporate, consumer and issues-led campaigns.
From reputation-building to cultural moments and health awareness, you’ll help develop ideas designed to travel organically, spark participation and crucially, earn attention in the right places.
You’ll be part of MHP Group’s multi-award-winning Creative studio, working alongside specialists in digital, strategy, design and production. Our key clients range from Sky and Coca-Cola to Roche and Aviva.
MHP Group is PR Week’s Integrated Agency of the Year, and you will be part of client teams blending a wide range of communications disciplines and backgrounds.
As a Senior Creative at MHP Group, you will:
Report into Iona Inglesby, Creative Director - you will work across MHP Group’s client roster. You must enjoy working on a diverse range of clients and learning about new issues and industries.
Shape earned ideas through a social-first lens, ensuring they live natively across platforms and communities
Partner with creative, strategy and digital teams to integrate social thinking into campaign development from day one, including UGC, Influencer and brand collaborations
Translate corporate and consumer narratives into participatory, culturally relevant ideas
Bring a strong understanding of platform behaviours, formats and online communities into the creative process
Contribute to campaign ideation, pitches, client workshops and creative development across reputation, brand and corporate campaigning work
Identify opportunities for reactive storytelling and social amplification around earned and social moments
Work alongside production teams and creatives on shoots to ensure ideas are optimised for social formats and behaviours
Brief our designers to help create assets optimised for social campaigns
Many of our clients work in highly-regulated sectors (such as Health, Finance or Government) or want to engage on sensitive topics, so you will need to enjoy the challenge of helping them innovate in the social space, while protecting their reputations and relationships.
You will:
Have 6+ years’ experience in a creative, social or integrated agency role
Have a strong track record of developing ideas designed to work socially and earn attention organically
Have a collaborative and cooperative attitude, we sit centrally and work across many practices within MHP Group
Be experienced working across both corporate and consumer campaigns, targeting complex audiences with creative social content
Have a deep understanding of platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn – and a passion for working with emerging platforms
Have the a bility to connect earned media moments with audience behaviour, platform culture and passionate communities
Be a strong conceptual thinking, cultural awareness and editorial instincts
Be a good team player, who is comfortable in client-facing roles
Be a confident communicator who can work on new business opportunities with internal stakeholders and pitch to win new business
Have a track record of selling and shepherding ideas through to execution
