Position Overview

Fourth are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join the team in London to play a key technical role in our existing HRUK team. You’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of the software delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology. This is a hybrid position with 1 day a week in our London office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement complex software features and applications with minimal supervision.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

• Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.

• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Contribute to continuous improvement across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.

Preferred Experience and/or Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL skills (MSSQL, Stored procedures)

• 5+ years of experience with C#, .NET Framework 8.x and above, .Net CORE

• Experience with React

• Active experience with legacy code (VB6 & Classic ASP)

• Solid hands-on experience developing REST APIs using Microsoft stack

• Unit testing and TDD

• Jenkins/Azure DevOps

• Blazor (nice to have)

• Octopus Deploy (nice to have)

• Experience with Azure/K8s and terraform (nice to have)
