Senior QA Lead (FX Trading Platforms)- Inside IR35

Keyrus is looking for an experienced Senior QA Lead to drive the quality strategy for a front-office FX Trading Technology programme. This role requires a deep understanding of FX trading platforms, strong exposure to pricing and execution workflows, and the ability to design and implement a robust QA framework for real-time, high-performance systems.

• Hybrid model: London-based - 3x time in Canary Wharf.
• Duration : January 2026 to July 2026
• Inside IR35 - between £550 to £650 per day (based on expertise)

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy for FX trading, pricing, and execution systems.
• Establish test frameworks, governance standards, quality gates, and best practices.
• Lead QA planning including test strategy, test plans, regression suites, and automation roadmap.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for low-latency FX systems.
• Validate real-time data flows including pricing feeds, market data feeds, and execution paths.
• Implement CI/CD-aligned testing practices and ensure automated test coverage.
• Work closely with developers, architects, product managers, and business SMEs to ensure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify quality gaps and proactively drive improvements in tooling, processes, and delivery.
• Mentor QA engineers and champion quality engineering across the team.

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• 10+ years of QA experience, with proven ownership of testing strategy for complex platforms.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with FX trading platforms (pricing, quoting, execution).
• Strong understanding of front-office workflows: pricing engines, order execution, trade capture, risk, market connectivity.
• Expertise in testing real-time and latency-sensitive systems.
• Strong grounding in QA methodologies, automation concepts, and CI/CD integration.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive quality outcomes end-to-end.
