About the Opportunity:
NRL is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager – Civil to support the delivery of high-profile nuclear infrastructure projects across the UK and. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of engineering design and supply chain readiness for the a Final Investment Decision on a complex project, with a strong emphasis on replicating the previous design.

You'll play a key role in delivering complex civil works, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, and driving alignment across project interfaces. Working with a leading organisation at the forefront of Net Zero and energy security, this role offers outstanding career progression and long-term project involvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage the delivery of Systems, Structures, and Components (SSCs), ensuring alignment with design principles for seamless application.
  • Drive the execution of engineering studies to meet project time lines and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of post-FID contracts by providing both technical and commercial insight.
  • Oversee the incorporation of specific modifications into final designs, documentation, and contractual outputs.
  • Act as a central coordination point across teams and stakeholders to maintain a unified approach to design and project execution.
What You’ll Need:
  • A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status is beneficial but not essential.
  • A solid track record in managing complex, large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering engineering solutions across the full project life cycle, with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
  • Skilled in coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and maintaining delivery against tight schedules.
  • Experience within major infrastructure or industrial settings, ideally involving civil, mechanical, electrical, or process engineering.
  • Proficiency in English at CEFR B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate complex technical details clearly.
