Project Manager - Civils
NRL is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager – Civil to support the delivery of high-profile nuclear infrastructure projects across the UK and. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of engineering design and supply chain readiness for the a Final Investment Decision on a complex project, with a strong emphasis on replicating the previous design. You'll play a key role in delivering complex civil works, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, and driving alignment across project interfaces. Working with a leading organisation at the forefront of Net Zero and energy security, this role offers outstanding career progression and long-term project involvement. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the delivery of Systems, Structures, and Components (SSCs), ensuring alignment with design principles for seamless application.
- Drive the execution of engineering studies to meet project time lines and technical requirements.
- Contribute to the development of post-FID contracts by providing both technical and commercial insight.
- Oversee the incorporation of specific modifications into final designs, documentation, and contractual outputs.
- Act as a central coordination point across teams and stakeholders to maintain a unified approach to design and project execution.
- A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status is beneficial but not essential.
- A solid track record in managing complex, large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering engineering solutions across the full project life cycle, with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and maintaining delivery against tight schedules.
- Experience within major infrastructure or industrial settings, ideally involving civil, mechanical, electrical, or process engineering.
- Proficiency in English at CEFR B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate complex technical details clearly.
