- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to children with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to develop tailored therapy plans.
- Conduct regular evaluations of therapy progress and modify plans to achieve the best outcomes.
- Deliver community-based therapy services to ensure accessible care.
- Specialise in supporting babies and children with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties. Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy plus HCPC registration are essential.
- Recent UK/NHS experience in a similar role is a must-have to hit the ground running.
- Proven expertise in handling cases in the eating, drinking, and swallowing service with a willingness to engage in community work.
