Location: Near Liverpool Street, LondonHours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: £17.14 per hour We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a site near Liverpool Street. This role is ideal for a passionate chef who thrives in a quality-focused, professional food service environment and values a great work/life balance. Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all client and company health & safety procedures, including food information regulations and food safety checks
- Run a section of the kitchen to the required standards
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to agreed standards and portion specifications
- Supervise and train commis chefs or kitchen assistants within your section
- Ensure correct food recovery and storage to minimise waste
- Assist with food ordering and stock control
- Support the receipt and proper storage of deliveries
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and work areas
- Ensure the safe and correct use of kitchen machinery and equipment
- Carry out other reasonable duties to support effective food service delivery
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare complex, refined dishes
- Previous experience in contract catering is desirable
- Quality-driven with excellent attention to detail
- Creative with knowledge of current food trends
- Sound understanding of food hygiene, health & safety standards
- Able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Passionate about food and a positive team player
