Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

A leading environmental consultancy is looking for a Principal Air Quality Consultant to join its growing London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant to take on a leadership position, delivering complex air quality projects, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

As a Principal Air Quality Consultant, you will manage a wide portfolio of projects including dispersion modelling, air quality impact assessments, and LAQM reporting. You will work with clients across infrastructure, transport, and urban development sectors, while contributing to business development and the strategic growth of the London team.

Duties for the role of Principal Air Quality Consultant include:

Delivering and managing air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors

Leading dispersion modelling and technical assessments

Producing and reviewing high-quality technical reports

Mentoring and supporting junior consultants

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Contributing to bids, proposals, and business development initiatives

Skills and experience required for the role of Principal Air Quality Consultant:

6+ years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulation

Strong knowledge of ADMS, AERMOD, and IAQM/EPUK guidance

Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related discipline

Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working toward it

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence
