Senior Project Manager - Commercial Fit-Out
Senior Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out
London | £65,000–£75,000 + package | Consultancy
We are working with a growing independent Project & Cost Management consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join its London team.
The business has built an excellent reputation for delivering some of the UK’s most iconic landmark developments, working alongside some of the country’s leading developers and investors across commercial offices, mixed-use, hospitality, life sciences and residential.
This is a genuinely hands-on Project Management role, offering true cradle-to-grave experience. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects from early feasibility and design, through procurement and construction, all the way to completion and handover.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception through to handover
Taking genuine ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle
Acting as the key client contact and working directly with leading UK developers and investors
Managing design teams, consultants and contractors
Managing projects under JCT contracts, including contract administration
Leading procurement, tendering and contractor appointments
Managing programme, risk, change and project reporting
Chairing client, design and contractor meetings
Coordinating technical and design interfaces throughout delivery
Working closely with Directors across complex landmark developments
About You
We are looking for someone with:
7+ years' Project Management experience
A strong background within a pure Project Management / construction consultancy environment
Proven commercial office fit-out and refurbishment experience
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
Genuine cradle-to-grave project delivery experience
Confidence operating directly with clients, consultants and main contractors
Strong technical and commercial understanding
MRICS or MCIOB would be highly advantageous
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a boutique consultancy while gaining exposure to some of the UK’s most iconic and technically challenging developments.
You will work directly with major developers and investors, have genuine ownership of your projects and gain hands-on experience across every stage of the project lifecycle.
Rather than being one of many within a large corporate structure, you will work closely with experienced Directors and have real visibility with clients, while benefiting from strong in-house expertise across MEP, sustainability, programming and design management.
Working pattern: 5 days per week, office and/or site based
