Shape and deliver resilient cloud platforms that underpin major digital transformations, combining infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform engineering and reliability practices across complex client environments.

The Company

We’re a global technology and business transformation consultancy delivering large-scale digital, cloud and engineering programmes for major organisations. You’ll join a specialist engineering community working across ambitious client engagements, with exposure to modern cloud platforms and varied technical environments. The role offers hybrid working with office bases in London, Manchester or Glasgow, alongside flexibility to work across client locations when required.

The Role

As a Cloud & Platform Engineer, you’ll design, build and operate the infrastructure and platforms that enable reliable digital services at scale. You’ll work across cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering, depending on your specialism and client requirements.

You’ll bring strong expertise in at least one area while collaborating confidently across adjacent disciplines. You’ll influence engineering practices, improve developer experience and help clients build secure, observable and resilient technology environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure, platforms and engineering tooling.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment processes.
• Build internal developer platforms, golden paths and self-service engineering capabilities.
• Define observability practices, reliability metrics, SLOs, error budgets and incident processes.
• Deliver monitoring, troubleshooting, resilience testing and production issue resolution.
• Influence clients, architects and engineering teams while contributing to propositions and technical growth.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
• Hands-on expertise across cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure or SRE.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or equivalent tooling.
• Experience working with CI/CD, Git and modern agile engineering environments.
• Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Backstage, Port, Cortex or similar internal developer platforms.
• Scripting knowledge using Bash or shell, plus exposure to testing tools.
