Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: You Role
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students academic progress and love for Maths. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with problem solving, Statistics and exam preparation
- Deliver tailored 1-1 and small group support sessions across a range of subjects in Maths
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and delivery
- Monitoring students progress and helping create targeted learning strategies
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant with the following
- Educated to a degree level in Maths, Statistics, Physics, Computational Mathematics, Applied Mathematics with a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or Top-30 University
- A strong academic background throughout GCSE’s and A-Levels
- A genuine passion for education and the Mathematic curriculum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with students and support them in reaching their potential
