Job Description



THIS ROLE

You will join IQ-EQ as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets, where you will take ownership of structured finance portfolios and deliver exceptional client service. You will lead financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and administration while guiding junior colleagues and building trusted client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring excellence, consistency, and efficiency across our Capital Markets offering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You manage a portfolio of Capital Markets clients, including ABS, MBS, CLOs, and other structured finance vehicles, delivering accurate and timely reporting
  • You act as a trusted advisor to clients, working with auditors, legal advisors, and intermediaries to ensure seamless service delivery
  • You support and develop junior colleagues, reviewing their work and providing technical guidance to ensure quality and accuracy
  • You ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards, applying up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements
  • You contribute to improving processes, systems, and client service within the Corporate Services team

Day-to-Day Tasks: What the Role Involves

  • You prepare and review financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, including group consolidations
  • You oversee bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT preparation and filing, and provide audit assistance for client portfolios
  • You manage bank account administration, review payment setups, and act as a back-up for client payment processes
  • You maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, resolving queries, and escalating issues when needed
  • You deliver ad-hoc projects and assignments on time, ensuring quality and accuracy in all outputs

Qualifications



ABOUT YOU

  • You are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • You have strong experience in Capital Markets, with exposure to structured finance vehicles from incorporation to closure
  • You bring expertise in bookkeeping, VAT preparation, and financial statement preparation under UK GAAP and IFRS
  • You are proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero) and have strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • You communicate effectively, manage multiple deliverables, and build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
