Our client, a Top 20 City law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Real Estate Finance team on a 6‑month interim contract, with potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for an interim lawyer with strong real estate finance expertise to join a busy, high‑performing practice known for its lender‑side focus, complex transactional work, and market‑leading clients.

You will work closely with partners recognised across the leading legal directories for their commercial approach, technical strength and track record in delivering sophisticated real estate finance transactions under demanding timelines.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

As an Interim Real Estate Finance Solicitor, you will support a thriving team on a broad range of lender‑side real estate finance matters, including:

• Development and investment finance
• Bilateral and syndicated lending
• Refinancing transactions
• Structured real estate debt
• Financing of office, retail, residential, hotel and mixed‑use assets
• Advising on varied borrowing structures, including LPs, JVs and property unit trusts

The work is fast‑paced, high‑quality and offers excellent exposure to major financial institutions, debt funds and real estate investors.

About You

• You are a qualified Solicitor with 3+ PQE with strong real estate finance experience gained at a leading City or international firm
• A solid grounding in lender‑side transactions
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• The ability to manage matters with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A commercial mindset and excellent client‑handling skills
