THE TEAM
You will join the Food and Beverage team at The Chancery Rosewood, working across our restaurant outlets, In-Room Dining and event operations. Reporting to the Floor Manager, you will collaborate closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house colleagues to provide a seamless and unified service experience.
YOUR ROLE
As a Waiter , you will be central to the food and beverage experience at The Chancery Rosewood. You will bring Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy and Relationship Hospitality to life through personalised, intuitive service and genuine human connection.
With the flexibility to support different outlets as business needs evolve, you will create memorable dining experiences by anticipating guests’ needs, sharing your menu knowledge and delivering attentive service to five-star standards.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Build warm, authentic relationships with guests, showing genuine care and attentiveness at every touchpoint.
- Anticipate individual needs and provide thoughtful menu guidance, personalised recommendations and wine pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, carefully recording dietary requirements, allergies and special requests.
- Maintain impeccable table presentation, service flow and timely clearance in line with five-star standards.
- Explain menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, dishes and beverages with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Take ownership of side duties, mise en place and daily service preparation, ensuring all areas are immaculate and guest-ready.

- You work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house colleagues to deliver a consistent experience.
- You handle guest feedback discreetly and professionally, escalating concerns when appropriate.
- You are flexible and comfortable supporting different outlets, service environments and changing priorities.
- You take responsibility for maintaining your menu, ingredient, allergen and preparation knowledge.
