Merrifield Consultants is delighted to partner with Nordoff and Robbins to find their new Head of Partnerships. This is an opportunity to lead corporate and music industry partnerships for the UK's largest music therapy charity, creating collaborations that grow income and help bring music therapy to more people. Job Title: Head of Partnerships Organisation: Nordoff and Robbins Salary: £51,840 per annum, plus £1,500 London Weighting where applicable Location: North London, hybrid working with a minimum of two days a week in the office Contract: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Closing date: Monday 19th October 2026 Required: CV and cover letter Nordoff and Robbins believes in the value of music for everyone. Its music therapy supports people affected by life-limiting illness, trauma, isolation, social exclusion and disability. The charity is looking to grow and diversify its income so that more people can benefit from its work. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the Head of Partnerships will develop and deliver the charity's corporate partnership strategy. They will grow relationships with businesses, brands and music industry organisations, secure new sponsorship and partnership agreements, and lead two Partnerships Managers. Key Responsibilities: Develop a corporate partnership strategy that grows sustainable income through new and existing relationships. Manage a portfolio of corporate partners, sponsors and music industry organisations, securing significant multi-year partnerships. Build a strong pipeline across the corporate, music, entertainment, technology and media sectors. Create compelling partnership proposals and sponsorship opportunities that connect partners' priorities with the charity's mission. Negotiate agreements and work with colleagues to deliver campaigns, events and partnership activity. Provide excellent account management and stewardship to retain partners and grow their support. Manage budgets, forecast income and report on the partnership pipeline and performance. Lead and develop two Partnerships Managers, while working with senior leaders and trustees to open new relationships.Experience and Skills: A strong track record of securing high-value corporate partnerships, sponsorships or commercial collaborations, including five- and six-figure agreements. Experience developing partnership strategies that grow income and strengthen an organisation's profile. The ability to identify opportunities, build a prospect pipeline and manage relationships through a CRM system. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to engage senior decision-makers. Experience creating persuasive partnership proposals, presentations and sponsorship packages. An understanding of partnerships in the music industry, corporate sector or a related commercial environment. Experience leading colleagues, managing budgets and forecasting income.This role would suit a commercially minded partnerships leader who enjoys building relationships and finding creative ways for organisations to work together.
