Casual / Zero Hours Contract Flexible Hours between 7:45am - 6:15pm, Monday to Friday

A well-established day nursery in South West London is seeking two Early Years Assistants to join their team on a casual, zero-hours basis. These positions will provide flexible cover for staff absence, holidays, and other operational needs.

The successful candidates will support the care and learning of children aged 0-5 years, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.

• Support children's learning and development through play and planned activities.

• Work collaboratively with class leaders and the wider nursery team.

• Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and effective communication with children and staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with or caring for children aged 0-5 years.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• A genuine commitment to supporting children's early learning and development.

• Flexibility to work on a casual, as-needed basis between 7:45am and 6:15pm.

• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).

Additional Information

• These are casual zero hours positions; hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on cover requirements each week.
