Integration Developers | Azure | Higher Education | up to £50,000 | Remote

We're partnering with a university in London who is in the middle of a major digital transformation, replacing Legacy systems with Tribal SITS and a modern Azure-based integration architecture.

We're now hiring two Integration Developers to join their dedicated SRS (Student Records System) Project Team. It's not just coding, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, document, and support integrations across multiple mission-critical systems (finance, curriculum, portals, comms).

Summary of the Role:

Role : Integration Developer x2

Employment Type : FTC until October 2026

Salary : £37,999 - £49,926 - depending on experience and skills

Benefits : USS pension scheme (19%-21%), 30 days + Uni Closure days + bank holidays, and more.

What we need to see as essential:

1. Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases & ETL processes
2. Knowledge of Azure development environment (Azure Data factory, Logic Apps)
3. Ability to translate non-technical requirements to technical solutions

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role where you'll design and build integrations between the new Tribal SITS platform and critical university systems such as Agresso (finance), Moodle (learning management), Syllabus Plus (timetabling), IBM IDM (identity), and Target Connect.

You'll work in a collaborative, agile-minded environment that's developing its integration maturity, with space to influence, improve, and shape how things are done.

Integration Environment & Approach

• Moving from SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory

• Middleware-first design (no point-to-point integrations)

• Mix of event-driven triggers and end-of-day batch processes

• Logic processing handled within Middleware layer before endpoints

• Modernising Legacy reporting integrations
