Event Organiser, London
- This is a Monday to Friday position with no work required on weekends or bank holidays. -
We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Event & Booking Assistant to join our team.
Duties include:
- Manage and update the restaurant’s Instagram page with high-quality posts, stories, and reels
- Plan and schedule social media content to promote menu items, events, and offers
- Respond to messages and engage with followers to build community
- Receives and welcomes all guests or contractors and directs them appropriately.
- Manages the meeting room booking system
- Establish good working relationships with internal staff and clients
- Liaise effectively with all individuals and teams to ensure that all booking requirements are scheduled and authorised
- Support the Event & Marketing Manager to delivery functions as required
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for senior management
- Manage department inbox and correspondence (e-mail, Teams calls, packages etc.)
- Creates and updates records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Tracks stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Assists colleagues whenever necessary
You’ll have experience working in an office or an events-based environment and have exceptional communication skills both verbally and written. Your polite, friendly and positive attitude combined with essential office IT skills (including excel) make you a great fit for our team.
