We are looking for an Account Executive to join MHP’s Technology practice. The successful candidate will work on an exciting and rapidly growing portfolio of B2B and B2C technology clients. As an Account Executive, you will be working across clients ranging from global brands to start-ups across sectors such as Enterprise, Energy, Connected Appliances, Cybersecurity, FinTech, and Telecoms.

We’re less concerned about where the candidate has gained their experience. We’re most concerned that they bring a sense of tenacity, enthusiasm, curiosity and fun to their work. We want someone who is hungry for success and who loves being part of a team. For this role we’re also looking for someone that has strong media skills, and for whom securing coverage is second nature.

This role will suit someone who likes working in a fast-moving environment, has a keen interest in the B2B technology space and media storytelling, and has experience working across multiple accounts.

As an account Executive at MHP Group you will:

• Help lead sell-ins to media and identify key opportunities for clients, plus support managers in reactive outreach

• Write first drafts of press releases, media pitches and media comment

• Be responsible for day-to-day account co-ordination, including completing status reports, action planners and meeting contact reports

• Build relationships with key journalists and bloggers

• Identify, secure and manage influencers for social media activity

• Assist senior colleagues in fulfilling their responsibilities to keep accounts on track and within budget

• Conduct desk research to support new business and client growth opportunities

You will:

• Have experience with or have a keen interest in Technology

• Be a media hound: tenacious and passionate about picking up the phone, schmoozing journalists and securing great coverage

• Have an interest in how brands engage with influencers and activate campaigns across social media channels

• Be highly organised: you will be relied upon to provide the administrative backbone to key accounts

• Be a strong writer: you will be responsible for writing press releases, comment pieces and media pitches

• Be a team player: you'll have great interpersonal skills, and bring a sense of fun to your work

• Have great time management and ability to multi-task

• Have a passion for news and current affairs

• Be AI curious, understanding how LLMs and AI agents can enhance human work
