Fleet Specialist Team Lead, London

With the expansion of our operations in the UK, we are now looking for a Fleet Specialist Team Lead who will be responsible for leading our warehouse- and in-field operations in London .
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As the Team Lead, you will work under the Senior Team Lead and report directly to them, providing support in accordance with market needs. You will manage a team of Fleet Specialists and be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service for our users and cities. Your responsibilities include overseeing the efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles, as well as swapping batteries.
You will divide your time between managerial duties—such as hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations for your team—and performing operational tasks, whether in the warehouse or in the field, based on the business needs of the site.
- Team Management: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews,
coaching, and training of Fleet Specialists. - Inventory Management: oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure
availability and optimal usage. - Health & Safety : Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards, complete onboarding paperwork, and monitor mandatory training compliance.
- Incident Management : Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policies.
- Contractor Management : Supports when required the repairs and maintenance in
the warehouse as needed. - 3PL Coordination: Daily contact with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to agreed
procedures. - Van Management : Supports operational aspects of vans, including installation and
removal of tracking devices, but not budget or planning
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for a pragmatic and responsible team-player who can fulfil tasks, solve problems independently, and work as a part of a team to find new solutions and reach set goals. In addition to being fluent in English, the right person needs:
- 2+ years of previous work experience
- Experience managing a team of people
- A UK Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses and no major offenses and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance. The reason for this is you may be required to drive one of our e-Van's occasionally
- General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite) JOB CONDITIONS

- Working days: 5 out of 7
- Working hours: Middle Shift
- Working days: Weekly rotation (Would be expected to work some weekends when needed)
- Contract type: Permanent
