The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Deliver targeted academic support to students individually or in small groups, including SEN support.
- Assist teachers in lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom delivery.
- Support student progression by tracking performance and implementing intervention strategies.
- Engage with extra-curricular and enrichment programs to enhance student engagement and personal development.
- Serve as a positive role model, inspiring high standards and ambition in every pupil.
This position offers clear progression opportunities. Many Graduate TAs at the academy go on to teacher training, while others build skills in leadership, behaviour management, and curriculum design. You’ll gain practical classroom experience, transferable skills, and a chance to shape your own career path in education.
