An established, highly regarded professional services firm is seeking a high-calibre Corporate Tax leader to join the business in a pivotal succession capacity as part of its long-term leadership planning.

This is a business-critical hire, identified as the future successor to the current Head of Corporate Tax. The appointment is designed for an ambitious Director or exceptional Associate Director who can step into a senior leadership role now, while developing into the broader Head of Corporate Tax position over time.

The Opportunity

This role offers a rare chance to join a successful and growing Corporate Tax function with a clearly defined progression path toward leading the department.

Working closely with the current Head of Corporate Tax, the successful individual will:

• Take on significant responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Corporate Tax function
• Lead, manage and develop the Corporate Tax team
• Drive operational excellence, team structure and performance
• Play a key role in strategic planning and future growth
• Complement existing leadership by strengthening team management and operational oversight
• Position themselves as the natural long-term successor to lead the function

• Currently operating at Director level, or a strong Associate Director ready to step up
• Deep Corporate Tax technical expertise
• Proven team leadership and people management capability
