JOIN our TEAM! We’re recruiting for a Tech Exchange Member to join us from August.
The role of Tech Exchange member is an exciting opportunity for early-career makers and recent graduates to access specialist ceramic facilities, connect with a vibrant creative community, and develop both technical and studio-management skills.
In return for 4 hours of hands-on technical support each week, you’ll receive up to 15 hours of fully subsidised studio time to grow your own creative practice.
What will you be doing?
•Support day-to-day studio operations: health & safety, glaze preparation, clay recycling, kiln firing and upkeep.
•Prioritise tasks independently and help improve studio systems and procedures.
•Enjoy up to 15 hours of studio access weekly to work on your own projects and ideas.
You should apply if;
•You have experience of operating in a busy ceramics studio with an understanding of clay management, glazing, and kiln firing.
•You are self motivated and can work independently; are innovative with excellent communication skills. •You want to deepen your understanding of how a professional ceramics studio runs — while contributing positively to our friendly, collaborative culture.
