We’re working with an Outstanding secondary school in Enfield that is looking to appoint a Science Teacher from October Half Term 2026. The school is keen to hear from teachers with a strong Science background who can engage students and deliver consistently high-quality lessons.
The role would suit an experienced teacher or a strong ECT looking for their next opportunity.
Inspire the Next Generation of Scientists
You’ll teach Science across the relevant secondary Key Stages, helping students build a strong understanding of scientific concepts while developing their curiosity and confidence in the subject.
The role will include:
Teaching Science across the relevant Key Stages
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Supporting students across different abilities
Developing students' practical and theoretical understanding
Preparing students for GCSE examinations where required
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department
Supporting wider school activities where appropriate
Who We're Looking For
The school is looking for a qualified Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, applications are welcome. You'll need to be confident in the classroom, able to explain complex concepts clearly and build positive relationships with students.
An experienced teacher would be ideal, although strong ECTs with the right subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.
