Intrerim Asset Manager
Contract: 3-6 months (potential to go permanent)
Hybrid: 2 days remote / 3 days on site We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to take the lead on shaping and delivering an ambitious housing investment strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on data-led decision making, strategic planning, and maximising value from housing portfolios. Key responsibilities: Develop and deliver the organisation's Asset Management strategy. Design and manage investment programmes aligned with strategic priorities and budgets. Identify risks, opportunities, and regeneration options to enhance housing stock performance. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (health & safety, fire, building regulations). Oversee stock condition data, lifecycle costing, and sustainability analysis to guide long-term planning. Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior leadership. Manage relationships with stakeholders and external partners. Line manage a small team of 6/7, supporting professional development and performance. What we're looking for: Strong background in asset management within housing, property, or related sectors. Experience using data to drive strategic investment decisions. Proven track record of managing compliance, planned works, and major investment programmes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
