High End Fit Out/Joinery Contractor

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a leading role in the commercial management of a high-profile interior fit-out project in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong leadership skills to oversee all aspects of project delivery.

The Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial side of the project, supporting the project’s commercial team, and ensuring contractual and financial controls are maintained throughout. Key responsibilities include:

* Overseeing project budgets and financial management.

* Procuring subcontractors and agreeing commercial terms.

* Monitoring and controlling subcontract packages and variations.

* Preparing monthly cost, value, and reconciliation reports.

* Advising the Project Director/Contracts Director on contractual and commercial matters.

* Maintaining strong working relationships with the client and project team.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior QS role within a contracting environment, preferably in fit-out. A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction is desirable. You will be commercially aware, able to lead a team, and have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
