Drama Teacher - Camden Independent School

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging practical and theoretical Drama lessons across all key stages, up to A-Level.
• Direct and organise major school productions and performances throughout the year.
• Develop students’ confidence, performance skills, and understanding of theatre history and context.
• Track and evaluate student performance diligently, providing precise, constructive feedback.
• Utilise the school’s specialist performance spaces and studios effectively.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree specialism in Drama or Theatre Arts.
• Proven experience teaching and directing Drama at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of theatrical history, dramatic theory, and technical production.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing productions and engaging students.
