Our communications and external affairs team are at the very heart of Reckitt's brand, purpose and products, bringing them to life around the globe for our employees, consumers, investors, governments and our suppliers.It's a rewarding task, growing and protecting Reckitt's image and brand. Every day, we design public relations and communication strategies that build awareness, trust and relationships, while steering us away from reputational risk. We do this by gathering and maintaining knowledge of our policies, principles, and business strategies, while keeping up-to-date with relevant developments right across our business units and trusted brands.From digital, media and events to employee experience, strategic relationships, and community partners, we identify opportunities to deliver on our business and sustainability agenda, while proactively identifying storylines and opportunities to advance our narrative.
About the role
We’re looking for a Content Manager with strong social media expertise to join our team. This role is perfect for a creative communicator who is passionate about creating compelling narratives, managing a multi-channel content strategy, has a thirst for constant innovation, is well versed in Gen AI tools and is passionate about elevating our voice across global platforms.
This is a hands-on, fast‑paced role where you’ll combine creativity with strategic thinking - guiding the vision, elevating execution and demonstrating how social and content contribute directly to broader business outcomes.
Your responsibilities
- Develop & manage the content plan & pipeline making sure we have a strong spread of content and a consistent narrative from across the business that drives engagement
- Lead the full content creation workflow, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant content delivery.
- Create & commission engaging, high-quality content for our digital channels (Reckitt.com, LinkedIn, X, Meta, YouTube)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate complex topics into clear, impactful messaging.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance and engagement.
- Ensure all content reflects Reckitt’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
The experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative & innovative content manager & creator who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. With a passion for driving high-quality content that supports the business strategy, you bring both the expertise and the leadership presence needed to elevate our content capabilities across our external channels.
- Proven experience in content creation and social media management within a corporate or agency environment
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
- Strong storytelling skills across video, imagery and copy.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate trends and insights into impactful work
- Very strong editorial judgement
- Knowledge of social media and AI best practices, analytics, and emerging trends
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Calm under pressure and in times of crisis
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation
- Collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Passion for digital communications and staying ahead of trends
