Empowering Learning Ltd is currently seeking exceptional administrative staff to join a well-respected secondary SEMH school in Barnet, London.

The school places a strong focus on both academic progress and behavioural support. Candidates should have experience with SIMS, CPOMS, and other administrative systems, along with a solid background in school administration.

To be successful for this role you must:

  • Have experience with SIMS, CPOMS, and general school administration
  • Be highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
  • Show patience, empathy, and understanding of SEMH students' needs
  • Work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality at all times

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
  • Welcoming visitors and managing reception
  • Maintaining student and staff records using systems like SIMS and CPOMS
  • Recording attendance and monitoring student information
  • Supporting teaching and support staff with administrative tasks
  • Organising meetings, events, and school communications
  • Filing, archiving, and general office duties
