FRA Carpenter

£27.45 per hour Umbrella
3-Month Ongoing Contract
Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FRA Carpenter to join a busy repairs and compliance team working across North London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with fire safety experience to secure a long-term contract with a company van provided. Key Responsibilities
- Installation of new fire doors and door sets
- Repairing and upgrading existing fire doors and frames
- Fire stopping works
- Installation of electrical enclosures
- Installing fire-rated plasterboard systems
- Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations and British Standards
- Completing works to a high standard of quality and workmanship
- Maintaining accurate records and completing minor administrative tasks
- Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied properties
- Proven experience carrying out FRA / fire door carpentry works
- Strong understanding of fire door components and fire safety compliance
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations
- Experience with fire stopping and passive fire protection works
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good record-keeping and communication skills
- Strong customer service and resident liaison skills
