4.5 days 40-45 hours a week. (Includes Saturday morning)
Salary dependent on skills and experience
ASAP start We are working with a new client who are currently looking for a Governess for two children aged 4 & 7 years old. You will be required to work Tuesday to Friday and a Saturday morning. Flexibility is required. This is a role where you will be supporting the education and prepping for 4, 7 & 11plus exams. It is essential that you have experience teaching children of this age – Maths and English in particular. The parents have an interest in STEM learning, and it would be advantageous if you have experience of this. Having worked in a private household is key. The children are a delight to spend time with. Well mannered and respectful. They do not need a strict disciplinarian and respond well to positive reinforcement and praise. Along with the education you will be expected to arrange outings, activities, play dates and manage the children’s diaries. You must be very organised with strong communication skills. Especially as you will be working in a fully staffed household. This is a family who are very respectful towards their staff. You will be made to feel very welcome in return for giving their children the very best of care. Please only apply for this position if you meet the criteria and have worked in a similar role.
