A prestigious grammar school in Merton is seeking a knowledgeable and committed Site Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, and day-to-day operational running of the school site.
About the Role
The Site Manager will lead the premises team, ensuring that buildings and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop long-term maintenance plans and manage contractors and site projects.
Key Responsibilities
Managing site staff and overseeing daily operations
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Planning and implementing maintenance schedules
Managing contractors, building projects, and risk assessments
Maintaining security protocols and emergency procedures
Requirements
Previous experience managing a school or commercial site
Strong understanding of H&S and compliance
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
