Salary: £37,000–£43,000 depending on experience

A high-performing secondary school in Southwark is looking to appoint an experienced Data Officer to support its academic and leadership teams.
This is a hands-on position where you'll take responsibility for the accuracy of pupil information and provide clear, timely reporting across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the school's MIS
Produce assessment and progress reports
Check and maintain data accuracy
Support assessment cycles
Prepare census and statutory information
Maintain pupil records
Work extensively with Excel
Produce reports for SLT
Support teaching staff with data queries
Maintain GDPR and data protection standards
The Ideal Candidate
You'll ideally have previous experience working in a secondary school data role.
You should be analytical, highly organised and confident working with large amounts of information. Experience with Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom is desirable.
This would suit someone who enjoys working behind the scenes but wants their work to directly support teaching, assessment and school improvement.
