Full-time Chef in London, Job ID J1F3C2
A wonderful family based in London is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organised Full-time Live-out Chef to join their household. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating high-quality vegetarian meals, with a strong ability to prepare Traditional Indian cuisine as well as healthy alternative dishes. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
This position requires someone who is confident working independently, can manage a kitchen to a very high standard, and is able to adapt to the family's preferences and schedule. Flexibility for weekend work is important.
Working hours: 5 days per week Typically 17:00 to 00:00 (With flexibility and weekend availability)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking daily high-quality vegetarian meals
- Specialising in Traditional Indian cuisine and healthy alternative options
- Planning weekly menus tailored to the family’s tastes and dietary needs
- Ensuring optimal use of seasonal ingredients
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times
- Ordering supplies and sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Building and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Monitoring stock levels and keeping the pantry, fridge, and freezer fully stocked and organised
- Creating a varied and exciting rotation of dishes
- Remaining flexible with schedule changes, including evening and weekend work
- Ensuring meals are prepared and served efficiently and to an exceptional standard
