Product Manager - (Business Workflow Transformation)
Argus is transforming how work gets done across the organisation. As we introduce AI agents and automations into core business workflows, we are looking for a Product Manager to lead this change from the business side.
The Product Manager – Business Workflow Transformation sits at the centre of how Argus operates day to day. By embedding deeply with teams across Editorial, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, and Operations, you will develop a firsthand understanding of how work really happens today, where it slows down, where quality or risk is introduced, and where automation can make a meaningful difference.
This is a highly visible, business led role. You will act as the authoritative voice on workflows across the organisation, translating real world processes into high value product opportunities. Partnering closely with Engineering and Data Science, you will shape and deliver AI agents and automations that remove friction, streamline operations, and enable better decision making at scale.
You will own the full journey from discovery through delivery to adoption and measurement, ensuring solutions are not only built, but successfully embedded into everyday work.
What will you be doing
Embed with business teams across Argus to build a deep, first‑hand understanding of how work is performed, not just how it is documented.
Analyse and document end‑to‑end workflows , including informal processes, hand‑offs, exceptions, and decision points, to identify friction, inefficiency, and risk.
Act as the single source of truth for business workflows , enabling Engineering and Data Science teams to design and deliver solutions by working directly with you.
Translate workflow insights into clear, high‑value product opportunities , building and maintaining a prioritised backlog of AI agents and automations.
Define and own prioritisation in partnership with the Head of GenAI Solutions and senior business leaders, balancing enterprise value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Shape delivery from discovery to production , working closely with Engineering and Data Science to define MVPs, iterate on solutions, and ensure they solve real workflow problems.
Drive adoption and change management , supporting rollout, training, and behaviour change so solutions become part of everyday work.
Measure impact by tracking adoption, time savings, quality improvements, and risk reduction, and use these insights to guide iteration and future priorities.
Communicate progress and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders, demonstrating how delivered solutions are improving how Argus operates.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Ability to work with teams in ways that create psychological safety , enabling honest discussion of pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
Strong workflow analysis skills , with experience embedding into teams to understand real world processes, including informal steps and exceptions.
Proven ability to work closely with nontechnical stakeholders and senior leaders to diagnose problems and drive change.
Experience translating complex workflows into clear, actionable product opportunities and priorities.
Experience working with Engineering and Data Science teams , acting as the authority on business context and workflow intent.
Excellent communication skills , with the ability to explain complex ideas (including AI enabled automation) clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Confidence prioritising across competing demands and making transparent trade offs based on enterprise level impact.
Comfort using data and metrics to validate problems, assess adoption, and measure outcomes.
Desirable
Experience delivering internal or operational products focused on workflow improvement, automation, or efficiency.
Familiarity with process mapping or modelling techniques (e.g. BPMN).
Experience with MVP led, iterative delivery approaches.
Understanding of change management and driving adoption within business teams.
Exposure to AI enabled tools or agents (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Gemini) in a business or operational context.
Background in product management, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or consulting .
What’s in it for you
Our rapidly growing, award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented, entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow their careers. Argus recognizes and rewards successful performance and as an Investor in People, we promote professional development and retain a high-performing team committed to building our success.
