School Receptionist - Independent School - Fulham
Our client is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised School Receptionist to join a welcoming independent school in Fulham. This is a busy, front-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in creating a warm and positive first impression for pupils, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external professionals
Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor sign-in procedures
Supporting safeguarding procedures, including visitor checks and ID protocols
Providing administrative support to the school office and senior staff
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school in a calm and professional manner
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a school-based reception or administrative role (independent school experience desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities with close attention to detail
Confidence using office systems and IT, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office
A calm, approachable, and professional manner
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
