My client, a well known Hedge Fund, are looking to hire a Valuations Control Manager within their Product Control team in London. This role will lead on Valuations Control for the business, covering a range of Fixed Income and Securities products and working closely with teams across the globe.

Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days in office per week)

Salary: £85,000 – £95,000

Role Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day valuations, ensuring compliance with policy and keeping up to date with policy changes.
• Taking the lead of month-end valuations controls process across all funds, and presenting results to the Valuations Committee.
• Maintaining continuous improvement of valuation control processes, and involvement in wider transformation programs within product control.
• Resolving ad hoc queries from Portfolio Managers, management, and external stakeholders.

Preferred background:

• Experience as a Valuations Controller within an Investment Bank or Hedge Fund, and exposure to the broader Product Control environment.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income derivative and securities products.
• Experience with Excel, Python, ETL tools, and Visualisation tools.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with stakeholders across a range of teams and levels.
