Admissions Manager | Leading Independent School | Hampstead
Be the first impression of one of London's leading independent schools. A prestigious Independent School in Hampstead is looking to appoint an experienced Admissions Manager to join its senior administrative team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the school's admissions function, managing the entire applicant journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. Working closely with the Head, senior leaders and prospective families, you'll help deliver an exceptional admissions experience while contributing to the continued growth and success of the school.
This role would suit an experienced admissions, customer experience or education professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding service.
The Role
As Admissions Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the school's admissions process while ensuring it reflects the high standards and reputation of the school.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full admissions process from enquiry to enrolment
Acting as the main point of contact for prospective families
Planning and delivering open mornings, tours and admissions events
Managing admissions data and maintaining accurate pupil records
Building strong relationships with parents, feeder schools and external partners
Working closely with senior leaders to achieve admissions targets
Reviewing and improving admissions processes to enhance the applicant experience

What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in admissions, school administration, marketing, customer service or relationship management.
You'll be an excellent communicator with outstanding organisational skills, confidence managing multiple priorities and the ability to build lasting relationships with families. Experience within an independent school would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits
£42,000 – £50,000 per annum
