This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual with 1–2 years of experience in sales support, customer facing roles, or commercial analysis to step into account management. The role of KAM is to help support and grow our business within the Grocery channel, working closely with key customers and cross functional teams. You will gain hands on experience in an exciting, fast growing category, with significant scope for future growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of sales and growth targets across key retail accounts.
- Assist in building and tracking Joint Business Plans and Internal Business Plans.
- Help manage and understand account level P&L, with guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with category management to position GPN as a category partner.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer contacts through regular communication.
- Identify and support execution of incremental growth opportunities through data led insights.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional activity using RGM tools.
- Share consumer and shopper insights with the wider team.
- Work with trade marketing to coordinate marketing support plans.
- Liaise with customer service to ensure smooth order and delivery processes.
- Stay informed on digital and retail trends relevant to your accounts.
- Support accurate forecasting to meet supply chain KPIs.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- 1-2 years’ experience within a similar commercial FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and EPOS data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and a passion for FMCG.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Self starter, highly motivated and ambitious
- Results orientated
