Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Lead Engineer

Our client are a leading, global FM Service Provider with contracts across various sectors around the UK. They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer & Mechanical Lead to join their team at a large commercial site in West London. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5.

Your new role
As Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Lead, you will deliver hands-on maintenance support to plant rooms and associated equipment. Key duties will include:

• Identify and manage the risks to end client through equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant & equipment, improving planned maintenance program.
• Fault-finding on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Reactive and PPM maintenance tasks.
• Work on 3-phase systems, motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• General maintenance where required.
• Supervising engineers (lead role)
• Technical support to the team (lead role)
• Operating as AP (lead role & training provided)

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience and background in delivering mechanical maintenance to plant rooms and associated equipment in large commercial properties. You will also require:

• Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications
• Critical environment experience desirable
• AP experience desirable (lead role)
• H&S quals desirable (lead role)
