Events Manager
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join HSBC’s Ultra High Net Worth Marketing team to plan and deliver premium client events that strengthen relationships, showcase our expertise, and bring the Private Bank strategy to life. You’ll own end-to-end delivery for UHNW events and provide structured support on flagship experiences—balancing exceptional client experience with strong operational discipline, governance, and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of UHNW events, from brief and planning through to on-the-day execution and post-event evaluation.
- Support flagship UHNW events led by Senior Events Manager, owning agreed workstreams and delivering to timeline, quality and stakeholder expectations.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, product specialists and marketing colleagues to define objectives, audience, messaging, success measures and roles/responsibilities.
- Source, brief and manage venues, agencies and suppliers to ensure service quality, value for money and delivery to brief.
- Manage event budgets, track spend and maintain clear financial governance and reporting.
- Ensure events are delivered in line with HSBC brand, risk, compliance and control requirements with accurate documentation and timely escalation where needed.
Key requirements
- Proven experience planning and coordinating marketing events for HNW/UHNW audiences in Private Banking, Wealth Management or luxury brands serving equivalent clientele.
- Strong project management capability, with excellent attention to detail and confidence managing multiple workstreams at pace.
- Demonstrable supplier and agency management experience, including negotiation, briefing and performance oversight.
- Solid budget management skills, with disciplined tracking, reporting and governance.
- Confident communicator with experience working with senior stakeholders; able to produce clear briefs and post-event reporting.
- Experience supporting international/overseas events and willingness to travel UK-wide and occasionally overseas.
