Nanny

A wonderful, down-to-earth family based in Victoria Park village is looking for a creative and fun nanny to join them on the 1st of September. This will be to help care for their G7, someone who is looking for a long-term role would be ideal.

This is a wonderful role covering 2pm to 7pm in term time and 25 hours a week in the school holidays, which will be flexible and mutually agreed in advance. There is also one evening of babysitting included each week.

The role will start with the nanny coming in and preparing for the afternoon from 2pm (the timing can be agreed and flexed), tidying G7 things, laundry and that everything is set for the afternoon. It would also be helpful if once a fortnight some batch cooking could be done for G7. School pick up is at 3:25pm and is a five minute walk from the house. The house is close to several parks which can provide a great place to go after school. G7 goes to a couple of after school clubs (current drama and swimming) which are a short walk/bus ride from school, after School can also occasionally involve meeting up with local friends and taking part in playdates.

In the school holidays, the nanny will have open communication about what the hours will look like, covering 25 hours a week. This is likely to mean taking part in play dates or drop off/pick up from clubs or activities.

The ideal nanny will be someone who can encourage G7 to flourish and grow within herself. She loves arts and crafts, creative writing, cooking, games and being with her friends. She is also someone who loves nature and being outside in a playground or playing sports such as cricket and basket ball. But after a busy few days she is equally happy having a “chill day” reading a book or doing a jigsaw. Someone who is creative, playful and able to connect with G7 and build a great relationship with her would be a perfect fit for the family.

The family have a cat who is a big part of the family and close to G7. They also have a lovely house in Suffolk by the sea that they visit often and are happy for the nanny to join them, especially in the holiday!
