The Premises Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the school environment is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. - Responding promptly to maintenance issues and liaising with external contractors for larger repairs
- Supporting school staff with porterage tasks including moving furniture, mounting displays, and delivering parcels
- Maintaining site security by opening and locking gates, patrolling the premises, and ensuring safety doors are secured
What are we looking for?
This role of Premises Officer is great for you if:
- You have previous experience in premises management, facilities maintenance, or a similar role
- You have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and can identify potential hazards
- You're capable of handling physical tasks safely, including moving equipment and furniture
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with others
- You're flexible, can prioritise tasks effectively, and are willing to work outside regular hours when needed
